Who is Yodiah for?
Families with children aged 2 to 12. Content is built in five developmental bands (2–3, 4–5, 6–7, 8–9 and 10–12), so a toddler and a preteen get very different experiences from the same app. Parents set up and manage the sessions; children use the app.
What is Yodiah Time?
A short, parent-set session with a purpose. You choose what it's for and how long it lasts. Your child enters a curated space matched to their age, learns and creates, and receives gentle prompts before the end so the session finishes calmly. Afterwards you see a short summary.
What's actually inside the app?
Stories and songs, learning games and quizzes covering literacy, numeracy, science and history, a drawing and creation space, and parent controls with session limits. Every piece of content is chosen and reviewed by people. There is no open-ended search or algorithmic feed.
How does Yodiah handle my child's data?
We collect as little as we can. A child profile holds a first name and age so the experience matches their stage. Parents give consent and stay in control. No advertising, no selling data, no third-party trackers. The full app privacy policy will be published before launch.
What will it cost?
One family plan that covers every child profile in your household. We're planning €9.99 a month with a discounted annual option. This is indicative pricing and may change before launch; families on the waitlist hear first, and get first access to the beta.
Which devices will it run on?
Android and iOS phones and tablets, and TV. A parent needs an internet connection to set things up; some activities work offline.
Which languages will it support?
English at launch, then Dutch and Yoruba, with more languages added based on demand. We localise the whole experience, including voice, songs, captions, activities and parent guidance. This website is in English, Spanish and Dutch.
When does it launch?
We're building and testing with a first cohort of families in the Netherlands now. Join the waitlist and we'll email you once, when you can get in.
Can schools or organisations take part?
