About Yodiah

Yodiah started with a simple question: what would screen time look like if it was designed around the parent's intent instead of the platform's?

The trade-off we kept running into

Digital media can educate and entertain. But most children's apps are built to maximise engagement, and every good video sits next to a feed that decides what comes after it. Parents piece together videos, games, language apps, creativity tools and screen controls across half a dozen products, and still end every session with a negotiation.

What Yodiah Time is

A parent-recognisable routine for safe, purposeful screen time. You set the purpose and the length. Your child enters a curated world matched to their age. Learning and creation sit side by side. Gentle transition prompts prepare the ending, and you get a short summary afterwards. One session system, measured by what a child got out of it, not how long they stayed.

What's inside

Four pillars: learn (literacy, numbers, science, history and short quizzes), create (digital art and active participation), grow (resilience, responsibility and age-appropriate values) and protect (a curated environment, parent controls and healthy transitions). Content is built in five developmental bands from age 2 to 12, and localised as a whole experience: voice, songs, captions, activities and parent guidance.

How it stays honest

Children's technology carries a higher duty of care, so we treat safety and evidence as product requirements. Minimal data collection and privacy by design. Human curation and educator review of every piece of content. And we optimise for completed, purposeful sessions and healthy endings, never for time on screen.

Where we're building

Yodiah is a children's learning technology company based in the Netherlands, launching there first on Android, iOS and TV. Our first year is a series of pilots with a focused group of families, educators and child-development partners. What we learn shapes what ships.

Who's behind it

Ayomitomiwa Adeniyi, founder and CEO, leads product, content and the Dutch market from the Netherlands. Tomisin Oluwasile, chief technical officer, owns product architecture and engineering across Android, iOS and TV. Specialist partners in education, privacy, animation and translation join where needed.
